  • Mountain Laurel Level: $100-$249 annually - Those wishing to sponsor at the Mountain Laurel level will have their business or organization listed under the Sponsors tab with a link.
  • Trillium Level: $25-$99 annually - Individuals or businesses supporting BCOE at the Trillium level will be recognized with a letter of thanks and become members of Bedford County Outdoor Education.


This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, specifically, to provide environmental education opportunities to students and outdoor educational recreation for citizens of Bedford County, Pennsylvania.


The intent is to provide quality environmental education to persons in the communities of Bedford County, to educate, train and otherwise publicize conservation of water, land, air and other natural resources.


To achieve this purpose, the corporation shall acquire, utilize and maintain to whatever extent it is able such educational facilities, equipment and materials as will serve this purpose and shall make such facilities, equipment and materials available to teachers, students and other interested citizens. It shall seek assistance and funds necessary to achieve this purpose and shall conduct its business on a charitable and non profit basis.

Become an Active Member

The board and committee members of Bedford County Outdoor Education (BCOE) meet regularly to discuss and plan ways to encourage the citizens of Bedford County to experience the outdoors. You are welcome to join the meetings to add your insight and enthusiasm for the outdoors. Our meeting times and places are posted on our calendar.

BCOE is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 organization that can give you a tax-deductible receipt for your financial support.
